Who we are
Kids step into classes where bricks become big ideas. Powerful learning happens in an environment filled with delightful ranges of bricks, baseplates and other common materials where kids turn everyday play into an exciting adventure!
Denise has been instructing after school enrichment classes, camps, homeschools, charters and workshops for over 10 years. She started with a brick franchise after working in a career of taxation. She now plays with toys for a living now. Life changed further-moving to a new area and new life therefore Brictacular Creations came to be!
Why Teaching? -She remember how she enjoyed being a Room Mom to working with kids in the classroom. This inspired the switch in her career where she loves what she does as she gets to inspire kids to spark their ideas into creations of their own. It truly is amazing to witness what kids build, create and problem-solve during play.
For awhile she substitute taught in Castro Valley USD and San Ramon Valley USD. Classes ranged from SPED, preschool, TK, K, 1-5, middle school, high school and proctoring. Those experiences helped gain further understanding of how the kids like to learn as well as build community.
For the classes, using endearing, inspiring and familiar toys and materials, kids are inspired to create, build and discover with a boost in confidence.
These classes are only instructed by Denise.. This is all she does other than non-profit work. There are no other instructors as this is truly a small community business where you work with the owner. Promotion is mostly grass-roots within the school communities she works in or the community centers.
